Hello i am wondering if anyone has upgraded the ps4 sata controller to sata III or created a mod chip that does just that.
The PS4 has a separate sata controller on the board so i am wondering if anyone is already working on this. Has this been done already.
All this time i didn't know that ps4 is sata II and not sata III. So it has me wondering why no one has upgraded the console hardware.
I know a Professional Solder reworker that can do the work so that isn't a problem and i am pretty good myself.
So in theory could you upgrade the ps4 from sata II to sata III. If not, well why not. If it can be done or has been done give me a message. If its supposidly impossible well why is that?
And i don't care if the games won't run right or something like that. This is a hardware upgrade. Software problems are not part of this discussion.
Im sure if i got the hardware upgraded that i could create some kind of patch or something like that to get things working.
