Ps5 blank screen

Hi my ps5 turns on but has a blank screen.. I have checked hdmi no issues as I have gone in safe mode tried restarting doing update but no joy.. my psportal works fine but just can't the ps5 to display. I've tried rebuilding database but its currently doing that but im just getting a blank screen.. no indication of progress.. is that normal? The ps light is white.. any ideas??

Have you also checked that it’s on the correct HDMI channel? Also have you tried a different HDMI port?
Have you tried the PS5 on another TV/Monitor?

I have tried different hdmi port but will try a different monitor/tv.. also I selected rebuild database but I've had no indication that it has completed can I just power off the ps5?

It should be ok as it doesn’t take long to rebuild. If possible you could move the tv to the PS5 instead.
