And I power my PS5 on it turns blue and then white and there's no display on the TV any idea what's wrong with it

Check the connection between PS5 & TV, if possible try another cable.
Ensure the tv is on the correct input/HDMI connection.

What color is the light supposed to be when it's powered on

Try using a different/new HDMI cable. I've had one die on me before and it thankfully had nothing to do with the console. Good luck.
This might seem like a silly question, but is your TV ok too? Can't hurt to check everything before spending money on parts/repairs/cables.
