Hello, newbie here.
I have a problem with one of my PS5 which I suspect is a hardware fault and hoping someone here can give me some advice.
I have two PlayStation 5’s one original and one slim both with disc drives. They are in separate rooms but both connected to the same ethernet network.
Until recently both have been working flawlessly but we now have a problem where the slim console keeps losing connectivity when playing Fortnite. The console doesn’t seem to drop connection as the party chat remains but you get kicked out of a game with a connection error.
As part of the troubleshooting I have swapped the consoles around changing only the PS5 leaving all cables and network connections in their original locations
The issue has followed the console suggesting it’s not an issue with the cabling or the ethernet connection but more to do with a specific issue linked to that PS5
I’ve performed a factory reset, but the prom remains, any suggestions?
Thanks.
