New to gaming

I'm trying to get into gaming especially wanting to play the uncharted games. I never had a console before. Would I be better off starting with a PlayStation 4 since I'm just starting out or would the PlayStation 5 make more sense. A new PlayStation 4 and a new PlayStation 5 seem to be around 200 dollars difference in price. I could get a used PlayStation 4 for a lot cheaper, but I really would like to start out with a new console. Any thoughts or advice?

As the PS5 will play PS4 games it would be better to buy a PS5. These can be found cheaper during sales or from stores which sell pre-owned consoles.
