lan cable message

Hi , i keep getting the (lan cable connected) message every few minutes .
No lan cable disconnected message though .
Any ideas ? It is annoying . Thanks .

Check the cable isn't faulty. Check the ports on both console and router to see if there's any dust or whatnot.
Power down and unplug from the wall both your console and internet router for 10 minutes, then plug it all back in and turn on. A lot of quirky network related issues can be resolved this way in my experience.
